It’s good but I feel like it could be better

I can’t add all 13 teams as my favorite team! I’ve tried using Wi-Fi and cellular data, but I still can’t! Please update so I can!

I don’t know if there’s been a update. It every time I turn my phone to watch screen if I tilt my phone on the slightest it reverts and it’s super annoying. I know it’s not just my phone because I don’t have this issue with any other streaming services.

Add a past full game free section

Not sure why but during off season I can ‘t access any of the games to rewatch. Other than that the app is perfect.

Downloaded app paid money and barely got to watch most games on app, none of the playoffs games were on app. 90% sure the price will go up next year not sure if it’s worth it.

You know why no one watches WNBA games? It’s because you need 4000 streaming services to get through the season and the official app-you know, the one that promotes the teams/game? -doesn’t even show the CHAMPIONSHIP game. I think I’ll go back to pretending the WNBA game doesn’t exist.

I’m trying to watch the Finals but kept getting kicked out of the app, then when I opened it this last time, it’s telling me I have to pay for a league pass. I have been paying for a league pass.

Omg! AWSOME! 🤩 I am a girl who is a HUGE fan of basketball and I would ask my mom if she would buy me tickets to literally like every WNBA game I saw!🎟️🎫😂She showed me this app and downloaded it for me! Ever since she did, I’ve used it when I’m board or need any tips on how to play!!

I had to turn notifications completely off because despite only setting it to remind me of games, it will send me push notifications stating results of games I intended to catch the next day. Not only that but some games you can only watch as reruns if you don’t have other services like prime or espn. League pass does not allow you to watch all games live. Bull.

For the most part, I don’t mind this app. It works pretty well in general. But what motivated me to write a review is the fact that despite it having a ‘hide scores’ toggle, the huge sides doesn’t hide who leads the series! Hugely disappointing during the playoffs when I’ve tried so hard to not be spoiled!!

app completely closes out while in the middle of games. The Wi-Fi on my end is great but the app closes anyways. I’ve had about 5/6 closes in just one game. Please fix this issues because it’s getting exhausting to keep trying with this app.

Love this app! Love the fact that you can hide the scores! I think it would be great if there was also a feature added to hide the “series” during playoffs. For example each game has like “First Round Game 2: MINN leads 1-0” at the top, it would be great if you could hide the “MINN leads 1-0” for people who can’t watch the game until later or the next day. Otherwise I think it’s a great app! 😊

only thing is i cant do a proper fullscreen on my phone w/o turning on capslock, but its whatever lol

Every time a game is on and I try to access the app it's completely unusable!!! This is ridiculous and a complete waste of money! So frustrating! Get your act together or STOP charging!!!

I don’t know if this just happens to me, but every time I try and press on a player, I get kicked out. For example, I’m a big Fever and Sparks fan, so I go to where it says “players” and look for Li Yueru, I press on her, the loading screen comes on, and then I’m getting kicked out of the app. I tried it a few other time with a few other players like Grace Berger, Caitlin Clark, Boston, Zia Cooke, Dangerfield. All those attempts had me kicked off the app. So then I tried with other teams such as Ivana Dojkić from Liberty, Ariel from the Wings. All those times I getting kicked out. But then I try the Mercury, first Rebecca Allen, then Amy Atwell, and then the whole rest of the team. This time is different from the other teams I’ve tried, ‘cause in this one, I’m not getting kicked off the app, I’m just being left on the same loading screen. It don’t make sense to me. Maybe it’s something to do with me? Not hate the creators, I just wanna know what’s up. God Bless.

I've consistently had problems with the sound missing for long periods of time. I wonder if I would have had the same challenges if I would have connected through Amazon.

Works when it wants to. I thought NBA League Pass sucked, but this is a different level. Feel like I wasted my money.

I can say that I love the WNBA, although the only reason I watch is for Caitlin Clark. If you ask any of my friends they will tell you that I love the W and the app is super helpful other than a few things that I want to change. 1.Some of the players don’t have the pronunciation button. This is super inconvenient because I am TERRIBLE with pronunciation. I literally have the hardest times trying to pronounce people’s names. 2.Why are some of the games on NBA tv? I now this doesn’t really go towards the app but when it is on NBA tv I have to pull out the laptop to watch it on there. It won’t let me watch it on the app. But when it is on ION it will let me watch it on the app. PLEASE FIX THIS😭😭😭 3.The games that are happening that day don’t show up until the afternoon of that day(except if there weren’t any games the previous night) I can not explain in words how annoying this is. I have to go in the games category which is very hard to navigate. If yall don’t fix this, I might lose my mind 4.The loading screen looks like a five year old could do better. Give her some detail!!! Thank you for reading this and developers, FIX THE APP!!!!

I was unable to watch the games over the past weekend; payment said it didn’t go thru but today it finally shows up 5 days after the attempted purchase; requesting refund

The app is terrible, Deloitte is really fumbling the bag during the W’s biggest season to get and retain new fans by putting out a garbage product. There is no option to stream to Chromecast through the iOS app despite the website saying you can. I figured this little hiccup would be fixed through an update but we are almost entirely through the regular season and there is still no option! Very very bad app. Almost entirely useless, have to do everything through the desktop.

From trying to watch past games on-demand, only for the app not to load the game at all, to the video crashing anytime you try to rewind playback, this app is absolute garbage. Compared to the AppleTV app (which is way better), the WNBA app on iPad is unusable.

I purchased the app in May and I used it a few times. For the past few weeks, it keeps giving me trouble. It wouldn’t recognize my login so I tried to reset my password numerous times. They said that they sent me a reset password email and I never received one. When I was FINALLY able to login, it kept telling me to purchase the league pass. I have been going in circles with customer support and they are useless. I’ve reset my password, deleted the app, downloaded it again, & sent them all the screenshots they requested showing proof that I purchased the league pass. So pointless! I’ve requested a refund but I doubt I’ll get it. This makes me so frustrated and sad. People finally want to support the WNBA and this is what they get??? How disappointing. They should be ashamed. Do not waste your time or money on this app.

Constant glitches when trying to stream or use airplay with my tv. Literally unusable

I'm not sure what's happening with the app. It always shows yesterday's games instead of today’s schedule, and the majority of the time, it shows more games than what is actually happening. I love the WNBA webpage; it's up-to-date. I'm not sure why this app isn’t

I continue to have issues with streaming live games. It will cut out after watching games for about 2 minutes. I’ve tried deleting and downloading the app time and again but nothing is working! So disappointing on so many levels.

First the app didn’t recognize my email and I had to sign up again. Then when I purchased it the app didn’t recognize my purchase and I kept having to login and it wanted me to repurchase! Somebody needs to be fired. I’m sorry but that’s the truth. Shouldn’t be this hard.

Worst sports app!!! Barely works. Kicks user off while watching game. Ask you to buy even though you’ve already purchased and at logged into account. App in terrible on all platforms.

Keeps prompting to purchase a subscription even though it sees the one I purchased. Will not allow viewing of any games. Very disappointed in the WNBA for backing this.

I purchased the subscription through the WNBA website today. I did this to bypass the Apple commission so the league would get more money from me. I tried logging in and the QR code just brought be to a google search. After numerous attempts, I got that subscription canceled. I reordered the annual membership through Apple. After purchasing and it charging my card. I tried playing a game where it prompted me to pick a plan.. weird.. but I did chose the plan I had paid for. Then it said I already had a plan. Due to the me missing the game to deal with this and the slow response from the WNBA customer service, I called Apple where we tried to make it work and then the kind lady informed me that the majority of the people she talked to today were people with the same issue with all of them canceling their wnba subscription. Simply getting an Apple customer care person to admit a problem is even happening is difficult, let along admit an entire afternoon of cancel and refunding customer for a singular issue. My mind was blown. From there she opened a case up for me and put in for a refund. It’s sad to see so much progress for the WNBA be brought down by a clearly half baked app. I may check back next season if I don’t find another sport to fill the gap.

Ya need to fix a few things, so we are paying 12.99 for league pass but not able to view previous games only the highlights ??? I can get that for free in YT

I’ve been a season ticket holder for a few years now, love watching the WNBA and have WNBA league pass just so I can watch my team games. However I’ve been extremely disappointed with conflicting ways to watch my teams games. Not to mention I also have YouTube TV and cannot link YouTube TV with my current WNBA league pass. While I love and appreciate the different ways to watch the games, there needs to be improvement in connectivity between the different streaming services. I’ll check the app for where to watch a game it will say WNBA league pass, then I got to watch on the App and it says sorry it’s local TV and not avail. So I got to YouTube TV check local channels and nothing. Then I have to resort to an online web browser stream when I have 2 different services pointing at each other to watch the game with no clear “where can I watch the game.” Please link these platform to make this easier for fans to watch. Thats all we want.

The WNBA app was an app which I used a lot. The games that you can watch for free and highlights were incredible. The glitches were not very noticeable. That was until a game where I went into the app and tried to open the 4th quarter play-by-play and it kept closing the app. I found this glitch incredibly frustrating and it wasn’t due to an update because the app was update to the newest version. It is not my phone either. If the WNBA can fix this bug, I would very much appreciate it and use the app a lot more as I once did.

I bought this app to watch the fever games. They put a bunch of the remaining games on the NBA TV. App which requires a subscription. What a scam . Won’t be purchasing next year.

Every time I go on the app and press a game to watch it clicks off of the game and says you have too many devices on this account and I only have it on my phone

If you want to pay a subscription that doesn’t actually have the live games and doesn’t work half the time, then get this app!

Besides acting like an outdated app, the inability not to see all games on the app if a joke! You pay for the League Pass and you still can’t get all the games. Biggest waste of money. WNBA has completely bobbled this whole expansion and growth.

This app is a scam! Any league pass should give access to ALL games yet there have been numerous games that have been “Blocked in your area”. It clearly states in the description that subscribers get access to live out of market games. DO NOT BUY!!!

I purchased League Pass at the beginning of the season. It worked fine for the first 25 games. Now when I’m logged into my account, it says I don’t have a league pass subscription. Support has been no help. They asked me to send them my confirmation email with my proof of purchase. I did and they just responded with copy and pasted generic suggestions which I had already tried. I clicked to purchase league pass (even tho I already have it). Sometimes it would tell me I already have a subscription. So I would go to watch a game and it would give me and error message saying to check back later. I would click to restore purchases and if that worked and I tried to go watch a game, it would say there was an error and to check back later. Other times when I would click to restore purchase, it would give me a message that it failed to restore purchase. Just a complete disaster all around and very annoying.

I purchased League Pass before the season started. Worked for most of the season but the app rarely works now and will say I don’t have a league pass subscription. And when I’m able to get in, then there are usually errors while trying to watch. Support provided no help - yes I tried all the basic fixes that didn’t work.

The app worked great until this new update. Now even though I’m only 3 months into a year subscription, it will not let me access the games. It keeps taking me to the subscription page to purchase the pass. Then it won’t let me purchase it because I already have it. Back to the watch games page, it wants me to “sign up for league pass”.

Price increase but connectivity inconsistent… missed several games …this app continues to get worse… next step will be asking for a refund … it worked great until the price increase ….

New WNBA fan. Would love the ability to favorite games, save your place in replays, and easily cast to Amazon Fire.

Overall, the app is OK, but it is frustrating to have to got to ESPN for career stats on each player. Shouldn’t the WNBA app be comprehensive?
